Job Summary:

ChargerHelp is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team on a full-time, fully remote basis. In this pivotal role, you will bolster our sales team's efforts by engaging with warm leads and playing a critical part in shortening our sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Qualification and Inbound Sales: As the frontline of our sales operations, you will be responsible for the initial contact with potential customers. Our marketing team will funnel traffic through various channels, and your task will be to sift through these to generate high-quality leads that will enable the rest of the sales team to effectively close deals.

  2. Outbound Sales Initiatives: You will also take proactive steps in the initial stages of the sales pipeline to identify and engage potential customers who are an ideal fit for our online sales channel. This involves reaching out to individuals who align with ChargerHelp's target market yet have not engaged with our brand or products.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Engagement and Outreach: Implement and adhere to a strategic process for connecting with potential customers. This includes distributing valuable content, crafting personalized emails, making phone calls, and arranging Zoom meetings.

  • Brand Representation: Create positive first impressions for the ChargerHelp brand, showing a genuine interest in the challenges, goals, and interests of prospects.

  • Qualifying Prospects: Ensure that each prospect meets our buyer persona criteria. Determine the best path for them, whether that be moving forward with online sales or progressing to a demo or consultation with an Account Executive or Director of Partnerships.

  • Lead Management and Education: Manage a pipeline of qualified leads. Engage prospects early in their buyer’s journey to educate them about our services, asking insightful discovery questions to understand their needs and challenges.

  • Product and Service Expertise: Provide detailed information about ChargerHelp’s offerings, helping prospects make informed purchasing decisions.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other sales team members to ensure a seamless transition of leads through the sales funnel. Maintain clear communication to enhance lead experience and ensure alignment across the team.

  • CRM Proficiency: Utilize Salesforce to document all sales activities meticulously, ensuring that every interaction and progression is tracked.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in remote sales, preferably with some exposure to the EV Charging or similar industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of sales processes and CRM software, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce.

  • Ability to quickly grasp and present complex solutions, responding effectively to customer inquiries and advancing them through the sales process.
